I'm not sure about the form still, since a lot of the materials and how i used them were new to me. I'm excited most by the energy the piece has, and the movement it has. I'm loving the colors but i wish i could get more neon flocking colors. i need to do an orange piece so i can use my melon flocking for sure. this piece is made up expanding foam, upholstered cardboard, porcelain, flocking, rhinestones, plastic diamonds, a fake pearl earring, and spray paint. many of the materials are found off the street and just added onto the form. i had a blast making it and i have a feeling its gonna lead to a lot more interesting mini landscapes and wandering dreams.

I added pom-poms(hesitantly), rhinestones, and beaded fringe. Im nervous about the pom poms but my felting wool hasn't arrived yet and I was really anxious to get started. I wasn't feeling the colors at first but as I keep working im beginning to warm up to this peice. As I continue im realizing more and more that I need to make 3rd base for this. It just needs another level of rediculousness. More to come on that.<br />

As I tried to attach and throw a coil onto an area that was structurally weak it collapsed. I threw this three part stand for Pigbunny in an effort to kind of "let loose". The bottom starts off with very controled lines and as you continue upwards toward the top it slowly losens in style. At the top is a an open vesselish form. I knocked it off center a few times to give it a wonkier shape. It is going to be errupting with pom poms, or pom pom forms with pigbunny sitting on top of it. Im pretty excited haha.<br />

Organizing the studio

The Galactic Rhinocone Ditty

Its an alien, a deer maybe, its a cat... its a Galactic Ditty... impersonating a Rhino via a soggy ice cream cone. I'm excited about this work. It's a weird departure from the Doodle, and feels much more free spirited. I took the opportunity to explore a bit on this. I'm not as happy with the base, but a better solution will come eventually. Got Covering by Yoshino, and i still have thinking through craft, and the uncanny to read. but its nice relaxing to start some fun project to work on in my free time. job hunting s still being a debbie downer so im headed back to making sketches and card designs for papyrus... and now i'll be making commission on kpop reviews for examiner.com. so excited to be able to make some pocket change writing about things i like. I'm even more excited that it is something i can do in my spare time. just waiting for my writing samples to get approved and then i can go full speed ahead. cheers to having fun... finally.
