Canopy Complete, New Tree Stalk, & Gifts

<div>So I've finished the canopy, it needs a few touchups here and there but otherwise its going very well.  I think im going to decorate it with some torn up pom poms and rhinestones. Super excited. I also threw the stalk/trunk of the next tree i'll be making. Its more losey-gosey than the others but im excited to see how that will play out.<br />

I also took the forms I threw and did some drawings on them. Can't show any closeups just yet because I don't want to ruin the gift. Im anticipating they don't regularly check my blog, but if they do this isn't too much of a spoiler :)<br />

Everything is turning out wonderfully. Everytime I look at the head from a distance I lust laugh because it already has the dumb smug expression the walrus has in the drawing haha. Having so much fun in the studio.<br />

The tree is almost halfway finished. The base of the tree needs one more coat of paint and the canopy for the tree has yet to be made. After I finish the canopy ill begin making the base and embroidering the faces of all the flowers. I also have to start making the walrus(in clay). It should be a big ball of fun. Expect updates throughout the week as I get more done.<br />
