Its an alien, a deer maybe, its a cat... its a Galactic Ditty... impersonating a Rhino via a soggy ice cream cone. I'm excited about this work. It's a weird departure from the Doodle, and feels much more free spirited. I took the opportunity to explore a bit on this. I'm not as happy with the base, but a better solution will come eventually. Things are getting crazy, so expect to see a lot more in the coming months!<br />

So I had beeen working on my proposal for my independent study, and I decided that its time... time to go big. As in make larger scaled work, after watching Rafael make his towers at MICA, it doesn't seem all too hard. Its going to be made of 4-8 thrown peices, some cast work, and lots of pom poms. Out will come the rubber balls, flocking and rhinestones to make my most epic work yet. Poof is on standby but the Penisle is going strong!

Finally getting back on the wheel. Started my independent study at CIA on wednesday and everything went like butter. It felt like it was just yesterday  when i threw last. I guess it really is like riding a bike.<br />

On another note i stopped by the keyholegallery on detroit avenue in lakewood and its a great lil upstart shop. The owner is friendly and displays a lot of "gallery reject" work.
